Carlson, Calladine & Peterson LLP is pleased to announce that Richard Zitrin (second from left) noted legal ethics professor, author, and trial attorney has joined the firm of counsel effective November 1, 2008. Mr. Zitrin will continue to litigate legal malpractice and other attorney conduct matters, and advise law firms and other clients on issues of professional responsibility.

San Francisco associate Monica Wiley (below, on right) receives the 2008 Charles Houston Bar Association President’s Award. CHBA works within the African American community to promote access to the justice system through volunteer legal service and other community outreach programs.

Five CCP partners - Don Carlson, Guy Calladine, Ed Donohue, Rob Peterson and Joyce Wang - have once again been named Super Lawyers for 2008. Super Lawyers are selected by vote among all licensed attorneys in the State, based on personal contact and credentials.

Founding partner Donald W. Carlson has been inducted into the Academy of International Trial Lawyers as a Fellow. Membership is by invitation only, and follows detailed investigation into the lawyer's skill, civility and professionalism.
