Michael C. Cooper is a founding partner of Carlson, Calladine & Peterson LLP and practices complex litigation, focusing on bad faith and insurance coverage disputes, personal injury lawsuits and corporate litigation. His practice is nationwide, and involves both domestic and multinational companies.

On an appellate level, Mr. Cooper has argued numerous matters before the California Supreme Court, the California Courts of Appeal, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has extensive experience in federal and state court practice, as well as arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution procedures. He is admit- ted in New York and California, and has been admitted pro hac vice in federal courts throughout the country.

Mr. Cooper evaluates cases at the outset of, or even before, litigation, and formulates cost and result effective litigation strategies. He uses his experience and expertise to approach every case differently and resolve complex problems by developing unique and often unconventional solutions. He places a high value on close and informed client relations.

Mr. Cooper’s experience includes defending complex bad faith cases and personal injury, products liability and corporate lawsuits.

Mr. Cooper is a member of the State Bar of California and the New York Bar.
