Melissa Dubbs is an associate at the San Francisco office of Carlson, Calladine & Peterson. Ms. Dubbs concentrates her practice in insurance and business law.
Her expertise in insurance law includes insurance coverage, claims handling, underwriting matters, bad faith litigation as well as insurance fraud. Ms. Dubbs has litigated numerous insurance coverage actions, including claims for defense, indemnity, bad faith, Cumis counsel, contribution and reimbursement, through appeal in both the State and Federal courts. She has also advises clients on the operation and application of various types of insurance policies, including those for technology, multimedia, professional liability, errors and omissions and general liability at both the primary and excess/umbrella levels.
Ms. Dubbs is a member of the State Bar of California as well as a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco. She has been admitted to the California and U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and all of the U.S. District Courts in California.

Ms. Dubbs received her Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in 1988 and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California Law Center in 1991.
